    Chevy S10-front lip?

So, I was driving down the highway and set my eyes on a front lower lip from a Chevy-S10 and wondered, if anyone has had the same idea or have you ever modified one to look like an IS lip on your E30?. I don't have any pics but I think any of you photoshop experts can probably whip one out and try that MOD., the pick up (S10) was a 1988-1990 and justfound out that, the old school blazers have those front lower lips too.

Hit a junkyard, grab one, and test fit it.

Thats what i was going to say. And they should be easy to find since they are on 82-93 S-10's and what ever year the S-10 blazer came out to 1994. Some of the 4x4's will have cuts in them for the tow hooks also, and some had fog lights in the later ones too.

Of what? The Chevy S-10 lip attached to an E30?

You gotta do it first. I don't need one. Maybe if you send ask someone to phtoshop it...but you should pioneer and be the first.

Word.... I guess i'll have to do the trial and error myself, still thou if anyone can do the S-10 Lip on an E30 it would probably be alot easier, but you're right I should just ask for that to be photoshoped!

Is this what you are referring to?

Looks like the bottom end of a IS valance for hte metal bumpered cars.

You could do the plastic weld, or however Jordan got his so nice and flush, make it look like one full piece and about 1/6 of an inch off the ground...doesn't look practical and might look like shit as a lower lip if put on a valance.

sort of on the same note....i have a '04 996 turbo front lower lip that i replaced because it had a little bit of scrappage on the bottom of the lip on a car i was fixing. i just couldn't throw it away, and thought i would screw around and make it fit on my e30. it is a little bit wider (just shorten remove the extra from the middle of the bumper and re-plastic weld it together) and slightly longer on the ends (also easy to shorten to fit) it attaches in a similar fashion to the reg BMW lip too.

it would end up looking like an IS lip (it dips in, in the middle like the IS )
with ducts (brake-ish) just inboard of the fog lights.

i don't think i will ever get around to doing it. anybody local want to take it and give it a try to fitting it? if you are local, after you fit it, bring it back to me and i'll bumper repair/glue it back together and reinforce it for you.

free if you want to try it. you also get some ballerstatus too, IIRC the are around $250 new since they are a Porsche part
