ha yeah. I have a friend who owns a honda shop and refuses to even touch them for that same reason. He says they break constantly and you cant ever get them right so he just wont work on them. Like you say he's had several people flip out on him over it.

How did he shatter the rear end? That's a D44, a very strong axle for a vehicle of that size.

I have known four people who had one. Three had the engine replaced at least once. The fourth has the 4cyl engine.

check the oiiillllllll. those v6's eat oil. the only way to make them less oil thirsty is to run shell rotella (yes diesel) oil in it. My buddy sold his with 70k on the clock because of oil consumption. I liked the growl of that v6 though.

My dad blew the head on an Isuzu Trooper two or three times within a 10k mile span.

The thing loved cracking. After awhile we knew the torque specs on every bolt on that head, and needed no manual.

Isuzu Rodeo and a short story.

I get out the shower and walk out of the bathroom with a towel on, the bathroom is right next to the kitchen. I look in the kitchen and theres some guy standing there smiling at me. AWKWARD AS FUCK. Anyway come to find out, my parents bought a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo and that was the seller
They payed 4300 for it, it is super clean with leather and all options, a nice orangy reg in color. Never seen it before. Auto/V6/Moonroof or what ever its called. Only 80k miles on it.

How are these as a daily driver? Gas mileage? Any serious problems that can arise? It came with a folder of maintence and work slips.

    Thanks guys.
