Does anyone know where i can get replacement bulbs for my gauge cluster? I dontk now where i can find them and iv searched around already. I am really trying to avoid the dealership since i know they are juat gonna bend me over...

i will get you some if you like. but seriously, we are talking about light bulbs here. even full list at the dealer isnt going to be over 10 bucks tops.. you might consider changing your screen name too

advanced auto parts or pep boys or which ever random auto store has them. I dont remember the exact number, but its the ones with (W3W) under the silvania bulb number. I just replaced mine a few days ago.

Is it possible to get a set of backlight bulbs from superbrightleds.com? Don't worry, they'd be amber ones, but I'd like the gauges to be a bit brighter. Can't figure out which bulb it would be, though.

i checked advanced auto, they didnt ahve any. said it was a dealer item. Checked the dealer, they only had two, and apparents the two larger bulbs in the back that light up the gauge faces didnt have the socket and they didnt have those parts either. so now i have to wait. I did however get to talk to one of the service people who owns a twin turbod e30 325i who claimedit put down around 500hp.....

We (Advance) DO carry them, half of the bulbs in my dash came from my store. Did you bring the actual bulb out of the car in?

Yeah thats bs I used to work for advance and sold them all the time. It will be a sylvania bulb in a green package. The guy using the computer didnt know how to properly look them up or was too lazy. They are listed in the system.

As I stated in my post, "I just replaced mine a few days ago." I bought the bulbs at advanced, and you just need the bulbs, you dont need the little plastic thing it sits in. Simply pull the bulb out of the plastic thing and push your new bulb in. If your sure that advanced didnt have them. I suggest you take the bulb out of the dash and take it in so you know what your looking for...
