Limited Edition M Series 325iS?

I would post the link but it is not allowed. A seller on a popular selling site is listing an 87 325iS as a "Rare M series" because it has an M20 and claims to have a letter FROM BMW stating it is part of a rare M series 325iS.
What the hell is he talking about?

That's hilarious. The guy claims the letter from BMW states its limited edition ///M series blah blah blah, when --oh darn, I can read the whole damn letter. It's difficult, but it's a reminder to schedule an appointment for his oil change. What a tool.
