Off to buy another e30

Well I finally gave in and decided to drive down a pick up the 91' 318 that cnardinola318is has been trying to sell. I will be leaving in the morning and driving to NO to pick it up. The plan is to bring it back and pull the engine and see if I can use the pile of parts in my garage left over from the Z3 and assemble an M42 and get it back up an running long enough to finish the m52 turbo engine I have in the works. Maybe next fall I will be ready to swap out the m42 for the new engine. I know the z3 has an m44 and the 318 is m42 but I have parts of both engines and have a good low mile m42 block. Any way I will take some pics of the car and post them. If someone offers enough money for the car after I get it on the road, I can always sell it and find another one for the swap. After this one I really need to sell a few cars. I got and offer on the e39 I think I am going to take. If I sell it, then I will sell the e36 and be back to all e30's and one Z3. My wife will not let me sell the Z3. She has been driving it for almost 3 weeks and it was her idea to sell the e39. Any way its off to New Orleans in the A.M.

Update. Well we made that 800 mile round trip yesterday, and the car is nice. The interior is nice, paint is a little faded but over all the car is nice. I will post some pics as soon as it worms up today. I hope to start pulling it apart today or tomorrow and see if we cant get another e30 back on the road.
