    Sell my car?

    when i first bought my e30 ive had people come to my door and ask me if i wanted to sell my car obviously if the price was right i would have sold it...since i got some interest i put the car on buyandsell.ca jus to see if i could make any money out of it. After like a month i recieved an email today by some guy in New York that wants to buy my car, i originally posted the car for $4500cdn....i bought it for $3400cdn now this guy who emailed me has offered me $4500USD this was his exact email to me:

    hello there,
    my name is mr smith and i live in new york (staten island ), i deal with the buying and selling of used things ,i have a big whare house in africa were i sell to people in africa ,i will like to buy ur car for the price of $4500 USD, i will be responsible for the shipment ,so u have nothing to worry about .please i will be paying with cashiers cheque if u dont mind .please i look forward to ur soonest reply.

    ...what do you guys think?

      for some reason it sounds phony to me, but if you get your money then there is nothing you have to worry about.

              Dude, have you never gotten one of those scam emails that wants you to put $10,000 dollars in some bank in Africa so you can get your share of $50,000,000?

              This is the same shit. Delete that email immediatley and never even open one again if you get it.

              Did you notice that he didn't even mention what kind of car you had that he was interested in buying?

                          Typical autotrader scam. I got e-mails like that all the time from people in Africa and Europe ready to drop money in my car no questions asked.
