    What is "Uro Parts"?

Recently, I've noticed that in addition to sketchy Meyle parts, there's a newer kid on the block for cut rate parts. Uro Parts. Like a M42 water pump for $35. What is that? I got a center support bearing from Bav Auto expecting a nice high quality Febi for $40. Nope. I got a Uro Parts CSB. I also got a guibo meant for a Jaguar instead of a high quality Febi that I was expecting.

Will my car explode into a ball of flame when I attach Uro Parts to my car?

When I see Uro, it sounded like an abbreviation for urological.

Ok I gotta take a urine now. BRB.

Uro makes some OK stuff. Meyle actually makes a lot of nice stuff.

I really think you ought to stop doing business with BavAuto though, as they charge premium prices for junk parts. They play the cup game with everything they sell.

Well, I had bought a Febi 78 mm guibo from them for $45 and a Febi E30 CSB for $40 a year ago, so I assumed it'd be the same stuff. I guess I was wrong. :(

I completely agree but the one reason I still do some business with bavauto is the fact I get my order in 2 days and not 7 days. I just really hate to order things out of California when at all possible just because of this. Like when I bought my koni's from ground control, and with the mistakes they kept making by sending me either not all of my first order and/or the wrongs parts all together, that once everything was correct and finally in my hands it tooks 6 weeks !

For the money you're paying BavAuto, you can expedite the shipments from the west coast and probably still have some to spare. :p

I had this happen to me. I had them price match BMA and I got some junk parts.

HAHAHA. No one wants to see your Uro parts.

Did Lemforder get acquired by TRW or something like that? I can't seem to find Lemforder CAs any more. Do E36 CAs fit the E30?

When I first got my E36, I did a CA job on my E36. I received two right control arms from BMA. After the 30 day return policy, I noticed I received two right control arms, one Lemforder and one generic brand one. At that time there was still a mail order Worldpac dealer with an order fullfilment warehouse in Massachusetts, so I got a replacement lickety split. Man, was I pissed when I noticed it. I already had the car in the air with a CA removed when I went to get both CAs.

I'm sure Patrick would still accept the return, thats a odd circumstance.

I know Patrick has Lemforder control arms and tie rods because I just got a quote on them Monday for my e30.

Yeah, I'm sure he would have worked with me to get the right part in my hands. I didn't call him to return it, though I probably should have. I ended up selling the spare control arm.
