    should I?

I've been wanting/planning on doing a m30 engine swap into my 88 325is. I've already started gather parts at the junkyard. I've got an e34 oil pan, e28 head, intake, throttle, tps, valve cover, AFM, airbox, and radiator. So far I've spent $130 on these parts but have found a complete m30 engine. It's in an 85 735i shell for $400 I can have the Engine plus any other parts I want off the car or the whole car(shot interior and body damage) so instead of messing with the shell I'm thinking of just pulling the engine, accs, exhaust and other parts I may need for the swap. If I continue buying parts at the junkyard I have another $250 to spend for the stuff I need plus then I have unknown shape parts from unknown shape engines. Where as this engine has under 100k and runs. I'd still have to pick up a 5-speed tranny, flywheel and stuff at the junkyard but that would come to around $70. Plus this car is 3.5 hours away so I could easily drive up pull what I want, some how get everything into my e30 and drive home in a day. Either way I'd throw all new seals at it but If I go the junkyard route I'll end up spending lots more money rebuilding it in the process. Which I don't have the funds for. Maybe in a couple years after the swap I can rebuild it then.

I was building a 2.7i m20 engine which should of had 210-220 hp at the crank but I've had a very HARD time finding pistons and 3 sets have been lost in the mail already from the UK. Plus I driven 2 m30 equiped cars and love the feel of the engine.

I know the m30 is heavier I don't care. Plus I know the weight will throw of handeling but that can be offset by adjusting the suspension.

not quite, either way I'll be doing a m30 swap I'm not asking about that I'm asking weather I should go junkyard slightly cheaper but more work invovled or a tad more expensive but known working engine in a one stop deal.
