Trying to source this part for the doors

Its the single sided sticky sheet that is cut to the shape of the inside of the door. Its applied right behind the door card as a weather sealant device.

I have one but need another and not sure what i'm looking for. BMW dealer refuses to help on this topic.

you wouldn't want to make one? I'm sure you could just get some heavy plastic sheeting and some kind of adhesive and nobody would know the difference

ive tried that route. What do you sugges for heavy plastic that you wont have to buy in a roll of 'way too big and expensive for my needs' length?

It's called a vapor barrier, for what it's worth.

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

              vapor barrier, yeah, thats it.

i believe i may have found something... its a mylar in the 3-5mil range, very stiff, very strong. just hope its wide enough to span top to bottom of door.
i'll update you guys but keep the comments coming if you have other ideas, my route may not work.

shower curtain is an awesome idea! ducks and fishes FTW!
