The blower is that big chrome thing in the middle of the V wih the belt and pulley on it. The big "aluminium airbox" looks like a water-to-air intercooler. That thing is nuts :shock:

Ted is correct. It's looks to be a 6/71 blower off an old plane. Quite common for the street machiners in Australia.

It doesn't have carbs either, you can see the injector plate directly above the blower.

That isn't a cooler of any sort in that aluminium box, they use copius amounts of fuel to cool the inlet temps.

Hansen, didn't know you were on this board. I spotted a nice E30 today in a car yard across the road from work. Looks like a 318is - shadowline, lowered, 16in wheels $6999. Will check it out tomorrow at lunchtime. If it really is a 318is, it is a BARGAIN and you should buy it :D

I got it from a pshoping website. They are about my age(14) so they dont care about the preformace figures. I asked for the but
