I see - IIRC that kit came at an additional cost. I considered buying one - but they are $$$. Over $150 IIRC

looks like the guys who sell on ebay. just molded plastic that is wedged into the console. I have a version but in e34 fitment. somewhere around 40 bucks shipped.

Seems like your hand would be really close to it with an SSK. The fit looks great, though, even if it does get rid of the only useful place to put an iPod.

I'm thinking its not that hard to make really. And a dock for an Ipod and the wire could be run under the center console to the back of your HU would be bad ass.........now to go make it.....

The guy who was selling it on ebay stopped selling them. He couldn't keep up with the demand. They were good products. He was only selling them for 60 or so for the non cig lighter and a little over 80 with it IIRC. It's a shame he stopped cause they definitely would work better than the factory armrest/cup holder thats for sure!
