I snipe items when i bid so watch out.

Like said before you can get the items cheaper thats why i do it and i usually win. Oh and i hate the auctions that end like 2-3 am in the morning i lost to an auction because i fell asleep waiting for it to end at 2 am.

those are the best ones becuase there isnt going to be anyone else to bid on it within the last few minutes.... but yah, if you wait until the end to bid as long as there is only one other person bidding on it then you would have bgotten it for much cheaper

If ebay is proxy bidding for him the item can't really be "sniped" for any less than what the item would sell for in a bidding war.

may have gotten it for as low as 46.00
you just couldn't refrain from the bidding war, hmmmmmm? bidding wars only raise the final price. they don't help you win the auction. Sniped bids win 90-95% of the time. and for less money.

I understand what you're saying here yet I feel that I know how to use eBay since I have been on there for about 2 and a half years. I guess if I would have "sniped" the auction it would have been cheaper but that's not cool.

That's why I don't sell on Ebay. I try to offer everyone the same price. It's fair that way.

I might buy on occasion but not that much because the next thing you know you paid to much for an item.

On the other hand I am glad that most members are refraining from putting up "Look what I found on ebay" as next thing you know we are bidding against each other.

So lets keep that agreement going.

You wouldn't believe how many threads like that I delete.

Lets keep the prices low for all of us.

If there was ANYTHING the search was good for, that would be it. I can see if your looking for a close up picture of some part inside the tansmission, but there are *tons* of pictures of cars with mtech1

this is not a flame, but what's not cool about it?

i never do anything but snipe- been on ebay since '98 myself.

in my mind, the only time it matters whether or not you're the high bidder on the item is at the end. therefore, any bids before that only inflate the price.

                      what're your thoughts?

I snipe all the time - haven't gotten anything on eBay lately.

The worst part is when someone is there to snipe back - so it's a mini bidding war that lasts 30 seconds. Talk about a rush. 8)

Nice find there- you got a sweet deal!
