key fobs - lets see yours...

My E30 key is on it's own keyring, since it's not a daily. The fob is solid pewter, with a spinning roundel in the center, from the local dealer, and it was free. :D

My key is also brand new, and I've never seen one like it. It's one of the lighted ones, but the actual metal key itself is a separate peice that's held in with a small set screw. The key handle is a lot thicker than most of the lighted ones I've seen, too. Andrew and I took the standard bulb out and replaced it with a white LED too, it's super bright.

Lol, I have the original key, but it is worn down so badly that you can't even tell it ever had a roundel on it. My backup key says ACE hardware on it, so the original must be gone. As far as my fob goes, I have a small LED flashlight, a housekey, a flash drive, and the remains of a roundel I got at the dealer. Nothing special, but I think I'm going to get one of those lighted keys.

I just have my car key on a ring with my apartment key and the keyless entry/alarm fob.

Do any of the rest of you have alarms and keyless entry, or am I the only one? I love not having to ever mess with using the key to lock or unlock the car, it makes my car feel more modern. I am also under the impress that because of how the central locking works its a really easy thing to install, but I wouldn't know because the previous owner took care of it for me.

I have a swiss army knife and a LED flashlight on mine..experience has shown they are pretty dam import part of e30 ownership :-D
