How do I mount a ryang splitter?

    Tape, glue, nails, staples?

Seriously - what's the best idea here?

Did you buy it from him? When I bought mine, he sent self-tapping screws to mount it with. I'd just go get some from the hardware store and screw it to your lip. Make sure it's on straight.

I used some nuts, bolts and a drill (scientific, I know). It's still on there after some serious abuse.

            ^Haha.

I guess maybe I'll attach mine differently next time. The screws held fine for me. Steve, what kind of bolts do you use? I would think the head of the bolt sticking out would be strange. You use flat headed ones or something?

mine has seen plenty of 100mph plus and a few scrapes and plenty of "knock-offs" entering my storage garage drive. I used the screws that came with it....

If I were to do it all over again, I would still use the screws heh. Maybe some small bolts/nuts would work, but if you dont over tighten and strip the plastic while tightening you wont have any problems.

                    +1

Although they do hold pretty well the first time, if you ever need to take it off (to paint or something) the threads just seem to get weaker and weaker everytime. I hated worry about overtightening, but if you use nuts and bolts, you can get it pretty fkin snug to the lip.

If i were to ever get one [which i wont] id get a small fine thread stainless carriage bolt. Stick the threaded end through the splitter and use a large washer, then bolt them on the inside of the IS lip.

This would be sticking out the bottom:

That's a good idea, Joe. I'll probably do that with mine when I make a new one. I have a Rieger Infinity, so the RyanG splitters don't fit. :(

I have hit 100mph many times and even 145 once with it on there. No problems here.
