Torx socket size on inspection cover?

I'm trying to finally replace my oil pan gasket, which I am pretty sure is guilty of turning the bottom of my car into an oil slick, but I don't have any torx SOCKETS. There's two(?) different sizes on the back of the inspection cover holding it to the transmission and I don't know either of them.

Anybody know right away what size they are? I don't want to be still working on it when its dark :)

    Those little guys are E10.
    The large ones are E14
The starter ones should be E12 I think

Here's a little trick if you don't have that socket. I've had success using a normal hex socket when I had to get the small bolts out and didn't have that tool with me (junkyard scenario). I believe an 11mm fits pretty nicely. It's not a perfect fit, but those little bolts are not tight enough to cause any damage.

Cool, thanks Erik. Ill go try that out and see what I come up with. Maybe I'll be making a trip to go buy some sockets though :D

I ended up using some SAE size to take them off, then an 8mm to put them back on. At least its done. What a PITA of a job that is.

If you're going to be doing it on a regular basis buy the right sockets. Those fasteners are a nightmare to remove if they strip.
