    First Post, Schwarz Style

    Hey guys.
I'm a college sophomore with the sickness/obsession we all share. I love to drive in the twisties, and thus BMW was natural as the swiss army knife of cars. Looks good, drives better, rwd and german. My mods are in sig, and hopefully I'm just getting going, but money is tight, etc. As long as it stays up to spec, it will be fun, and anythign on top of that is just a little luxury of life.

I like my car to be used to potential, but not abused, so this guy gets driven arguably hard but respected all the same. I wish the little guy was lighter, like the 318is, because an old, underpowered car needs any advantage in this age of bigger and badder cars. But new cars suck, and we all know this..... Getting off topic here... I want less weight but other than trunk tar it feels hopeless, I like the heated seats, sunroof and leather but its nothing I need trying to take down anyone with presently rather pedestrian 200hp or so...

Oh and its odd, I finally come across a forum where Jordan was banned....

Oh and another thing, I just got my MILLER MAF in the mail. Should be a good little mod, I was lucky enough to have a bad AFM. I'm putting it in tomorrow after class, wooot.

    Comments, questions, or insults ?

    cheers, see ya around

Cool, where on the west coast?

There are plenty of ways to shave weight...some more "streetable" than others. Lots of CF parts, exhaust can shave a few, remove AC if you don't need it, trunk tar, lightweight wheels, lighter battery, the list goes on...

Im up in Oregon. Used to live in the Bay and I get down to SD and SB quite often actually.

One of these months I'll get some lighter wheels and other rotational mass crap, and a lighter battery sounds like a good option too. I need my AC and I cherish a stock (heavy) exhaust setup, it is 100% streetable and so quiet.

Down the road I would love headers and a cam, but hopefully when that time comes instead of those mods I will have the cajones for a 'proper' snail. Low boost, good flow and $ is all it takes I guess.

Very nice, what part of Oregon? Here in the valley, there are a few groups that get together pretty regularly in Salem and Portand.

x2 for some pics of the schwarz goodness! :)
