I noticed these wheels, and the exact same pictures. I think the car was in the Carolinas in the auction.

Here is another pic that I have of that same car. I saved pics of it b/c I like those wheels. You can see the eBay watermark on the bottom right of my pic.

Hey guys...sorry for the delay in responding, but I figured I'd receive email updates whenever somebody responded to this thread...didn't happen for me.

Anyways, to update this complete crap..... I did end up asking about the weird noises

                            Sent by me @ 1/25 at 9AM:
                            "Barry,
Ok, I certainly understand that. I'm sure it's been difficult for you to sell this car via the internet. I don't have any problem whatsoever with conversing via email until we meet later on. Here are some questions I have for you about the car:

                            1) Will you clarify the engine situation: Has the original engine been swapped out with another s14 (w/ 64k miles) and does the chassis have 123k miles on it?
                            2) Where is the car currently located (city, state, zip)?
                            3) If you have a current CarFax report on the car, will you please send it to me?
                            4) Are there any knocks/unusual noises coming from the engine/suspension?
                            5) To your knowledge, what is the history of the car? When/where did you purchase the car? How long have you owned it? What series were you planning on racing it in?
                            6) What wheels are those on the car (manufacturer, style, et)?
                            7) What is your eBay username and other pertinent information?

Alright, I think that's all I have for now. Let me know when you have a chance, Thanks!"

(I know you guys love my sarcasm in this one...)

                            Barry's response: 1/25 at 9:10AM!

                            "1 Yes
2 The car is located Huntington WV 25701
3 The car fax report stop in 2006
4 No the engine run perfect and I put on it new tires and suspension.
5 Y buy the car from a colectionar guy he love this car very much like
me I buy it in 2003 never raced
                            6 BBS
7 My ebay user name is b_charles_2007 Barry Charles Huntington WV 25701
So I will need your user id to contact ebay.
                            Thanks"

Alright, so he bit on question #4 and didn't call me out on it...what a fuck...

My final response to 'Barry': 1/25 at 10:02AM:

"Before we proceed any further, I would personally like to inspect the vehicle. A relative of mine lives near Charleston, WV and I am willing to fly or drive there for a weekend to see the car, before any further transaction. Please let me know when you are available in the next 2 weeks so we can arrange a meeting time. Thanks Barry."

This was the straw that broke the camel's back...he has yet to respond, so I'll be sending him a scathing email that I'm sure will not warrant a response.

So, bottom line...like a lot of you have already said....HUGE SCAM!! I hate these little shits and I wish I could track one of them down and burn whatever car they have sitting outside their little shack. Just my opinion though...

                            Happy Motoring.

ask for a pic of the rear. dollar says it has euro plates.
i fell for the same scam on a s52 powered vert. i didn't give any money of course, but i was pretty angry when r3v pointed out the car was in Europe.
