Proper staggered setups look great.
And not half of this forum will ever push their cars to the limit of breaking traction in the front or rear tires around a corner, so who cares how it performs? Honestly, if it came down to it, I side with the insurance companies that rather see someone understeer into an object than to spin and take out 4-5 more things with them.
I've pushed staggered and non-staggered tire setups, and I can say that on a simple staggered setup, oversteer and understeer still relies more on driver than anything else. Suspension setup is also key.
