yesterday 7/13/06 saw a red 318is lowered, in boston and then at revere beach near kellys.

6-17-2006 White Vert w/Blonde at wheel

Date / Time:6-17-2006 Saturday - 7:50 am. (ouch-too early)

Location: Highway 101 South -Redwood City vicinity as I recall

Observed :Blonde out for a morning cruise in the white drop top.

Car Details / Observations :-

Plastic Bumpered E30 vert with drop and aftermarket rims. Antenna mast not fully functional as seen by only a few of the mast sections being raised when radio/stereo is in use.

7-17-2006 -Monday - E30 vert -Blue w/ blue top

Date / Time:7-17-2006 Monday 12:10 PM.

Location: San Jose , Ca - Highway 17- Southbound Toward Santa Cruz passing Highway 85 Offramp

Observed : Crusing the drop top E30 vert headed towards Santa Cruz

Car Details / Observations :
Looks like CirrusBlau w/ blue top - dropped with aftermarket rims. Possible 5 lug swap by the looks of the rims - unsure.

Same color as mine with same top color as well. Kinda rare for me to see another similar to mine.
Rear window was way blurry and distorted. The drop is about the right stance in my opinion with the rear needing just about 1/2 inch higher or so.

Personally I would have been rocking the top down for Highway 17 over the hill to Santa Cruz! Great drive. I do it quite a bit myself!

Damn I gotta wash my trucks drivers side window. Water drops obscure picture somewhat.

Location: Campbell , Ca - San Tomas Expressway and Campbell Ave

Observed : Stopped at stop light waiting to make a left turn on Campbell Ave
Car Details / Observations :
Black - E30 with M3 fender flares
Pieces missing and not legal in current state.
Missing front bumper pieces / lip
connectors dangling
No gas filler door
Aftermarket rims and a drop.
Potentially engine enhancements, but no notable exhaust drone.

Appears to be in the process of a rebuild.
Had what appeared to be custom venting in the hood to allow more airflow and cooling for the engine.

I wish it were an M3. Its just a regular 3 series with the fender flares. C-pillars and trunk lid are the give away.

Lach colored E30 M3 with 17" 5 spoke wheels, possibly RD and a roll bar.

Not sure who it was but sweet car! I was quite suprised to see it.

M-tech 2 steering wheel
MHW smoked tails + rear euro plate filler
smoked elipsoids
15" basketweaves, guessing euroweaves.

And that's what i saw rolling by the car.

Blue complete MTech II kit.Mhw rear tail lights.
Lower'ed,aftermarket exhaust(loud and deep)
I didn't have a camera at the time but man it was nice.
Thats the only Mtech2 I have ever seen here.

I could say I saw a UFO with an MTech III kit that had a Stromburg customized xenon overturbine intercooler warp drive, but with out a picture. Im blowing smoke!
