Sweet little 323i spotted on eschholtzstraße. Had something weird jammed into the grille area...not sure what thats about but otherwise a clean little E30 with some nice bits.
Like most clean E30s i see around here, it was piloted by an old dude. He must baby this thing cuz its mint.

Spotted at PepBoys in Mechaincsburg, PA around noon. Ran the plate and says its a 1989 325i 5 speed with ~90,000 miles.

I own a set of those wheels! Haven't seen them on another e30 till now. 15x7 et25 Momos (mine are still polished face and gold windows at the twist). Super cool, they're one of the sets for the SE30 car.Leave a comment:

The steel wheels are really narrow, so it's not surprising. They were 5.5" wide.
Typical 16" wheels are more than 18 pounds. 14" steelies are a little over 17 pounds.
I highly doubt anyone could feel that difference in weight, it's pretty minimal. Both setups might actually be about the same corner weight, because the steelies need much higher profile tires.Leave a comment:
