a way to save from the dealer

i donno if anyone else does this (im sure someone does this is a pretty smart crowd)
but if you are a CCA member and you go to your local dealer (at least here in raleigh) you only get like 10% off and you still have to pay tax
BUT if you look in ROUNDEL some dealers give 20% off for out of state order (no tax either)

i just bought everything needed for the z4 short shifter kit for $60

I don't need the CCA discount I get a Frequent shopper discount. Like today My parts would of been around $24 and I got them for $15. The main parts guy Brian Joked with me some and said "we need to get you hooked up on a frequent payment plan" I was just there Tuesday getting some parts and had to order one clip and then purchased some more stuff while I was there.

Ah yes. Out of the three local BMW dealerships, only one gives a BMWCCA discount. It's a nice 20% though.

I have a pending job offer there ... and that could mean some much NICER discounts. :D

Bimmerlover, if they are cool, your employee discounts will ROCK. 50% on some shit. Or free nuts and bolts and that shit. Just make good friends with the parts guys and you will be set. Too bad I never need NEW parts.......

you just gotta get to know your local parts guy, my friend did and gets all parts for cost. It really helps out.

The dealership here doesn't give the CCA discount.

Then again, everyone that works at the dealer here are COMPLETE and total pricks.
