    I can't see shit....

Got the e30 back on the road, and damn it fogs up so quick it's not even funny. I bought the rain-x anti-fog stuff and it doesn't work a damn.

My car doesn't have a/c, heat or blower.... sooo. I need your guys help please.

Can someone please try and run the blower w/o a/c or heat on and report back if it de-fogs the windshield ? If it does I'll be pulling the dash out again to put the blower fan in.....

    Tia!

Mine did the other night. It took a couple minutes but it was fogged up, i ran the dash vent at full blast and it went away. Granted I'm in atlanta, but it was cold as heck for here.

both AC and heat does it for me.... except the other day when it was unworldly foggy. It took a little wiping.. Texas has had some insane weather lately-foggy as London one day, 85 mph winds the next few days.

Yeah, but I am trying to figure out if blower by itself will do it or if I am going to be wasting my time pulling the dash and all to put the box back in and blower etc. It will take me a while to get the a/c back in that's for sure....

In some of my cars that had no heaters in them i had to keep a small towel with me.

Mine de-fogs with just the fan no problem. I rarely have to use the AC, and even then it's just to speed up the process. Get that blower working, and throw a towel in the glovebox

I'll go out on a limb here but on days like that, at that percentage, even a rag without AC or heater to blow isn't going to help you. I'd say keep it as cleanly Windexed as possible and carry some napkins or newspaper in the car.... If you smoke, don't do so in the car.

Yeah, I can deal with no heat but I can't deal with fog...argh. Cracking the windows (I tried both) doesn't help much at all, I don't smoke.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I just applied RainX a couple of days ago and my windshield started fogging up too. It's not that bad for me but I have A/C and heater :D.

I think the blower should work. Opening the windows a lil while driving will definitely help.

Don't just crack the windows, keep them all the way open and don't even try to get the inside of the car any warmer than the outside. That should help take care of the fog, just use a few paper towels to speed up the process.

Well, if it fogs because there is a difference between the outside / inside temp, then a heater wouldn't be of much help and would only make things worse, no ? And, how many e30s are driving around with working a/c systems ? lol..

I guess i'll just have to put the blower back in and see what happens....
