heated door locks?

that many e30s have a heated door locks for the winter so when you pull up on the door hand it triggers it?

I have owned quite a few with heated door locks. usually when they have that, they have the complete winter package--
heated squirters for the windshield, and heated mirrors also.

Did many of the US models have them? I've yet to see a US car with factory heated mirrors.

The cold weather pakage also usually came with heated seats, but not always. It's really hard to tell without taking the door apart and checking.

Im going to take a wild guess and say my new 88 iX has heated locks and mirrors..... I will check when I replace the driver side window regulator.
