    -34C/-29F car starts no problem.

    Just thought i'd share my shock that my 92 325ic would start no problem in these frigid temps without plugging in the block heater. I had to plug in my wife's 01 Corolla and hook up the battery charger to get it to start.

      shit a week ago it was -28f here in the AM and my diesel started right up not, pluged in either. It was a smokey when I came back out side to leave but hey its cold and a DIESEL

          It was -30 here, my jetta wouldn't start :(

          Not a battery/charging problem though. I think it was from some snow drifts I hit in the road, had about a foot of snow up in my engine bay. Froze the starter solid. This is the first time hasn't started on me.

          About 45 min in a heated garage, and 1 blow torch later I got her going lol.

                  -29!!?? I think it is cold here and it was between 0 and 10 F. No problems starting here, either, and now that I have done the electric fan mod, I get heat from the vents within 2 minutes of light driving :)
