yeah, the motor really needs a 750 or 800cfm to really take advantage of the rest of the setup. Mainly I just don't like the Berry Grant carbs, the idle circuit sucks and enrichment dosn't have as much tunability as I would like. Overall Holley makes a much better carb IMO.

YOu don't need much more carb, what are your plans 750-800? I had a buddy with a 71 heavy chevy w/ 30 over 427 and a double demon 1050's. Think made tears well up in your eyes at idle (rich), that and helped reset your heartbeat.

the Velle is a '72 with 91 Vette short block, .060 over 11.5:1, pink rods, forged crank, fully worked heads with a crappy 650 Demon sitting on top and short tube headers going into a true duel 3" running Magnaflows, and a race prepped TH400 going to a 3.93 12 bolt rear. I'm guessing around 400CHP. Just got it 5 months ago and haven't had much time to work on it. it was built for 200 shot of nitrous, so I'll be adding a plate kit once the motor is rebuilt.

Plans are motor rebuild (burning oil), better intake mani and bigger, better carb. It needs new interior, and I need to do some rust repair once I get the e30 running again so it can go back in the garage.

We actually bought it for my wife, I want to get her into drag racing. This car is a twin to my car from highschool, my uncle liked my car so much he duplicated it. He hit some hard times so he sold it to me.
