Well, since I couldn't sell the damn thing I thought I'd just mod the hell out of it and drive the wheels off of it. Tell me what you think.
What I have is a very straight and solid 1990 vert with DB bumpers. Interior is new and mechanicals have all been done. Soooooo, it is time to start tearing things up.
1. Plastic bumpers/body kit ?
2. Remove 3rd tail light and put on a____________ spoiler?
3. m50, s52, turbo, stroker ? (I'd lobby for turbo since everything else is in good nick).
4. Suspension package? (hard time finding springs for the iC but ground control could solve the issue easily enough)
5. Exhaust? (Lt and...... gotta pass emissions here, and the exhaust is new but annoyingly quiet.
6. Wheels....... I've had them all and still cant decide on what looks good. It has 17" on it now, but they suck. The size however looks pretty "right" on the vert. Normally I would go for 16", say Keskin, BBS or Borbet. I loved my ACS.
I have the money to do any or all of the above. I think the first priority is to make it NOT look like a jacked up conastoga wagon. The question is would it be a waste of money/effort as I have a 325is shell in the garage waiting to be built? Should I just drive as is and build the iS? Why do we park our cars on the driveway and drive our cars on the parkway?
