Wet E30

Hi guyz, new here from BFC.OT

My driver side has been getting wet lately and I don't know what it can be.
There's absolutely no rust and Today when I removed the carpet, I saw yellowish water (maybe just from the spungy stuff?). I can't tell If it's just moisture OR some kind of leakage from air conditioner hoses???
There was alot of water, I would say.

PS. keep in mind it's only on driver side.

Heater core, heater pipes, or clogged sunroof drain.

Does it smell like anitfreeze? If not possible bottom corner of windshiled gasket where water sits and leaks under inside. You can lift up gasket and squirt some silicone between seal and gasket in bottom corners and that can stop water from leaking in .

Ok, it doesn't look or smell like antifreeze.

AND on the side note, It hasn't been raining.

the carpet padding will tint the fluid a strange color, but that probably is your heater core as stated. atleast someone didnt break your window, prior to a 4 hour rain storm, while you were out to sea. i had 4 inches of water on the passenger side, and i didnt realize. started the car and fried my amp which was under the passenger seat...i hate fucking vandals /rant
but good look with the repair

well my car did the same thing on the passenger side so i lifted the carpet and it was the drain hole. P.O prolly lifted the car from the drain hole and cracked the seal around it. I used some windshield epoxy to put it back on. no problems yet.

Damn it, it all started since I used my rear frosters??
cuz I havn't ran the heater or the air conditioning AT ALL although they both work.

ya, sounds like I gotta take the whole carpet out tomorrow.

I had a similar problem last year with my car. There are some rubber body plugs in the floor that can become damaged by inproper jacking or road debris which will lead to a wet floor.

it will corrode and bust when not in use after 19 years of corrosion has taken its tole.

PS Do you know a good junkyard or two In NO town?? cuz I got a new list of junkyards, that I havn't been to yet.

No, Ive never been to any in Fresno. I can get you OEM E30 parts 10% above cost though.
