Kit Car build video...

SOMEDAY I'm going to build a kit car. I found this series of videos "A Car is Born" - seems to be a BBC or Chanel 4 UK thing. He builds a cobra(not my cup of tea, but it's all the same). He does it more or less from start to finish.

About 8 hours of video - it was a good waste of a Sunday.

I'd really like to see something like that, but in time lapse mode where you could see the entire build in 5-10 minutes.

And I'm with you, I wold love to build a kit car. Or better yet, design and build my own car from scratch. Something similar to the Ariel Atom (obviously not nearly as cool, but home made nonetheless). Basically a big, bat-shit-insanely fast go kart.

I always wanted to pick out a frame that was the right dimensions and pick and build a car piece by piece. "I want that brake booster, that lug hub,.." Man it would be so sweet.
