According to a friend of mine, this is the one they are going to start using in The American Le Mans....here it is the info he sent me..

"This is the latest photo of the new BMW M3 created for the American Le Mans Series. It will be run in the ALMS by
Rahal – Letterman racing.

It looks mean and ready to go after the competition. I believe this to be a GT 2 entry. It should
be fun to see them going against the Porsches, the new Vette (GT2 version), Aston Martin
GT2, and to a lesser degree the Panoz Esperante. This is one for Bill Auberlain. Since this is
Rahal – Letterman run it will be interesting to see who drives it.

If the drivers are factory paid (like Porsche) the BMW will pick them."
