Lead on OEM fabric and material?

Does ANYONE have a lead on OEM BMW fabric so that I can replace my worn out side bolster with the real deal? Its the one out of view in the shot below

I need the gray material that covers the side bolsters. If you also have a lead on the houndstooth print, I would greatly appreciate it.

please someone out there have it...

There's a junk yard up here that has a e30 with a set of non sport houndstooth seats in it. But i don't know if there would be enuff fabric to use for your sport seats? Plus i think their prices are a little high.

      Is it Crazy Ray's?

I'm not headed out there again. Especially with snow and ice in the forecast... :(

It needs to be a pretty large piece...

It's at Peer's junk yard in Ridgely,WV. It's only 15-20mins away form me. But i was looking at HT non sport seats and it does look like that piece you need would be too small on the non sports. But i'll keep an eye out still.

I didn't know it was going to do anything, so i just looked out side and there is already a inch of snow on the ground :|. I'm glad you said something, or i would of woke up to a surprise.

have you talked to the guy that does all the shift boot/e-brake boots yet? I'm at a loss for his name right now though...

If you find out, Post it up. I'm looking for a piece too to patch up a worn through hole in the junkyard ones I found.

Don't hold your breath. I've been looking on and off since I got my Houndstooth interior. Which was almost 3 years ago.

I have the same interior and my DS bolster is also worn. I am contemplating doing alcantara bolster with the Hounds tooth but dont know if it would look good.

Dont worry, I'm not. since I have a 4 door, I swapped the seat backs where the hole is from the driver's to the passenger's side so i dont wear it down anymore. I just keep an eye out in the junkyards for a piece left over that's big enough to patch the hole. either way, worn out HT seats are much better than worn out blue cloth seats.

all else fails, when I do finally land a good paying job, I might try to find a good company to reproduce some of the fabric. I know there are places that will recreate any fabric from a swatch of the original fabric. I've seen them do that for historic cars. It's just a matter of finding some place to do it at a decent cost. But I got nothing but time for now.

Besides, I like your pirate themed covers for your seats.

try the dealer. I know they still have some pieces in leather for the e30 sport seats, maybe they have cloth too.

We found some houndstooth at a local fabric shop that was almost DEAD on the original E30 stuff, sells for like 6-7 bucks a yard and (seems) pretty durable. I'll head back down there sometime soon and see what all they have.

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

Please do, I would greatly appreciate it and pay you for your efforts. I really need the grey fabric for the side bolsters over the houndstooth.

                              This is OEM yes?
