It's finally snowing! The board comes out!

I'm so stoked, it started snowing yesterday, with about 6 inches. And this morning I wake up, and it's snowing again. YES!! As soon as I saw it yesterday, I ran to my hall closet and dug out my board and all the rest of my gear. I can't wait until they open the mountain. I live in Bend, OR, home to one of the most well known ski resorts in the northwest, Mt. Bachelor. We were voted as having the best snowboard park in the country last year. I'm so excited, I can't wait to get up there.

i want it to snow in Big Bear where I go, but the fires are still going, and besides, it wont start to snow up there any ways by atleast end of november.
But once there gets enough snow up there, i am going and staying for a while.

The crappy local hills are opening up this week sometime. Only one or two tables are built usually but they are decent size so they are good for getting your stuff smoother and more consistant. I cant wait for the first mountain trip though.

It is just going to be harder for me to wait because I got a brand new BMW snowboard. They are a really good quality board, and suppose to be really fast, i cant wait. Tell us how your first trip is up to the mountains.

sweet, i just picked up some K2 Enemy's a couple years ago (all mtn twin tip skiis)... i love em

i may pick myself up a season pass to Attitash & Sunday River... attitash kinda sucks, but i fuckin LOVE THA RIVAH! 8)

either that i'll get student discount on an american ski company pass for like 50 bucks more... there's alot more mtns included in that but i dunno how much i'm gonna get to go this year :?

either way... i gotta get out west & check out the rockies sometime in this lifetime :twisted:

I'm in Indiana. I don't have snow like those up north, and I have no ocean or lakes like those on the coast. I can't snowboard,. i can't surf.

I can't wait to get some more snow too. I want to go snowmobiling! Hopfully bachlor will get more snow as November goes on. We didn't get a whole lot last year.
