Under the hood, she has a few aftermarket bolt-ons, such as a BMPD stage 1 CAI, Conforti / Turner performance chip that produces a max HP increase of 29hp @ 5300 RPM. Another nice extra is my supersprint exhaust, which threw on another 20hp with the use of a CAI and gives the car a nice growl at higher RPMs or at idle. The engine is retuned to run like an E36 and most parts that are replaced are replaced with genuine e36 parts, when possible. The ignition system and firing mechanisms are a mixture of e36 and bosch parts, giving a little extra boost from take-off.
Theres a little more to the engine, but I'd hate to spoil the surprise ;)Erick Mahle | FullOpp Drift | YouTube

dude... look at this... his FIRST SENTENCE just baffles me...
"This is my Bimmer - my 89 325ic which I often like to call a M3. The reason for that is, she has a Eurospec M20 motor. For those of you who know the eurospecs, they produce a little higher horsepower than usual as well as a little more low end torque. In Germany, they were often referred to as, the "Mini-Ms"
... so he calls his iC an M3? last i knew the m3 didn't have a eurospec m20... it's no closer to being an M3 than my friggin ETA... sure it's FASTER than my ETA, but he has no more right to call his car an m3 than i do
and they're often referred to as the "mini-m3", huh?... why? cuz it has two MORE cylindars than an s14 making it BIGGER?
uhg... i've already wasted too much of my time on this, and i haven't even gotten past finding things wrong w/ his opening statement
although i WILL say, it's a nice lookin ride *COUGHSLUSHBOXCAUGH*... just needs an owner that doesn't have their head up their ass :?
oh... and there's nothing COLD about that intake
(and i also like how he has the STOCK rear bumper)

This same link was posted on E3S, the thread quickly went downhill fast until the moment the owner showed up to try and convince us it was true.
The guys an idiot, end of story. Welcome to 90% of car domain.
Edit: I acctually had this thread locked, but after seeing this picture, I've decided you guys can flame away.
He blurred out his plate on all the other shots, but missed this one here reflecting on his windshield (plate is on the dash)
For those of you that don't read backwards well: "WANAB M3"
I think that plate says it all now doesn't it?Tenured Automotive Service Professional - Avid BMW Enthusiast

Hes a fucking moron nonetheless.
I started that one, after seeing the cardomain page about blowing a gasket in my mind trying to contemplate who stupid the driver must be. The owner showed up, as did a supporter of the Reiger E46 M3 kit, etc etc. it grew into a flame war, and a hating of the Reiger kit, etc. etc.
Basically, EVERYONE LAUGH AT HIM! it'd be okay if he's fess up to not knowing much about engine performance and become educated, but he tried to defend what he said. I think like UNHCLL or another mod told everyone to not clown on his stupidity, because it is in bad taste.
The only tight thing about that car is that fine babe standing next to it on the right...... Boy does that mini skirt look tasty!
