Are you looking for the official name or something??

For the most part, e30 leather interiors consisted of black, gray, & tan. Cardinal red was another interior color, but its somewhat less common.

My guess is what ever program he uses to look up the vin needs IE to run.

Wasn't there more than two types? Maybe I'm just thinking of exterior colors.

One of the tans is really light, almost a grey, but still obviously tan. the other is a typical tan color, if not darker. I forget which is which, but I think Natur is the darker one

Lift up the rear passenger seat bottom. It may still have the little tag form the factory there if the seat has not been out before.

I've owned cars with both. Here's a pic of each. The quality isn't the best, but should give you a good idea of what each looks like. The pearl beige almost has a light green tone to it.

                            Tan:

                            Pearl Beige:

                            1987 E30 cabrio | Bumper swap | H&R Sport | Koni Yellow | Eibach Sways | BavAuto strut bar | Cardinal seats
                            MTech2 wheel | Husco Armrest | Smoked Hella Smileys | 5k HID | Stromung | RS003
                            | Shadowline | Amber Fogs | Too much else to list
