Well I finally got the car back from paint. When I got off work it was still in the paint booth baking at 140ºF. The paint is pretty cured.
Car got 2 base coats/3 clear coats. The clear is really nice and deep, minimal orange peel, and a couple sags in the clear. I'd much rather have sags then orange peel :) After I get back from the NW Picnic I will take the car back into the shop and they will fix the sags in the clear for me. (free) After that it will become my daily driver, while the e36 M3 is retired. Prolly in a month or so I will colorsand the entire car, and high speed polish it to a smooth as glass finish.
The rear bumper is just quickly bolted up on the car right now, so don't make any comments about the gap up top. I'm aware ;) It needs to come back off soon so I can paint the diffuser portion of the bumper black. I don't care for how it looks body color at all.
