    Snowboarding.

Hey from that snow thread, it seems that alot of people are into snowboarding. I used to go like 1 or 2 times a week + like jibbin around town ect, but now im just so busy . Oh well, what kind of setups do you guys have, and what kind of stuff do you do?

I have a 146 Ride zero. I like the board, its got plenty of flex in it and its great for jibbing. Im planning on just beating the crap out of it this year, and get a new one next year. Not sure what kind yet. Whatever.
Drake f40 ltds, there nice just the hiback is to high.
Umm Dc boots and pants, and a bonfire jacket, all of wich I lurve.

wErd get me back into snowboarding

    I bombed Korea every night.

Ok, well obviously i have a brand new BMW snowboard.
With a set of Burton bindings, and NorthWave Boots.
All new stuff, and I cant wait to use it this year.

By the way, does any body have any tips on how to catch more air on a jump or on how to grind a rail better then how i am now :?:

Its all about timing, and not wussing out. 8)

And grinding, you just have to do more to get better. Actually same with most sports.

I have a beat up Burton board and airwalk boots. They rock.

I'm not good enough to justify spending any money on new stuff yet.

I've got a 155 Ride Timeless, Drake F60ltd bindings and Burton Driver boots. All pro-formed through my old job at Ski Market, so I got it for like 1/3 price :D . Its a pretty kickass setup. Wicked freakin' stiff. Where do you guys like boarding or skiing? I usually go to Killington, Sunday River, and Wildcat.

I love the feeling of flying past these slow ass wide board lack of cordination knuckle dragging clothes to big to fit clumpy booted morons.

There is a reason out west Snowboarding is banned on certain mountains and there are PRIVATE mountains for skiers only.

We rule, and all you snowboarders.... well you can just sit at the trail head and struggle to clip into your board while I cover you with spray from my super quick turns.

-who doenst really hate snowboarders.... well except for the ones who sit in the middle of the trail and "ride" like a blind fuckin idiot

Thats true, you spend more time holding up your pants so you dont fall flat on your face... you never even make it to the stairs. Couple that with the fact you pay $60 for a lift ticket to play on some mounds of snow in a U shape.... man i can build that on my 500' driveway and charge you $50! ;)

Its the beginners who slide sideways down the whole mountain and take all the snow with them that give us a bad name. :x
You skiers do look pretty dumb waddling around in your clunky boots though. ;)

I ski. I have a set of 168cm twin tip salamon 1080's and a set of 172cm volant stainless steel skis. I have been skiing for about 5 years. Gotta say though that snowboarders have an easier job walking up stairs.

K2 Double-Wide 164 board (have a size 13 shoe), Clicker Bindings, Shimano/K2 boots. And now we have all these skiers trying to take over the board parks too...

Skiing here in the midwest pretty much sucks here. It's all groomed runs; no deep powder like out west. I'm in the market for some new skis. I'm considering the Rossignol B1, Atomic R:9 or the Dynastar Intuitive.
