Ahhhh yes, the neverending skiier-snowboarder fight. It's just funny to watch people hash this out. I have a lot of friends who are skiers, and I think that skiing takes just as much talent if not MORE than snowboarding.

I ride a Morrow, I'm not sure what model it is, my wife got it for me for X-Mas a few years ago. It's a really awesome board, and the only reason I haven't replaced it is because it rides so nice. I've been riding for about 5 years, and I don't really do big like big giant air and backflips, I just bomb down runs and carve like a mother.

Well the ski and snowboard disput is probally just about what is cooler or more fun. I havent skied, so i wont jump in. I am just here to say that snowboarding is really fun. Besides all of my friends that have skied and snowboard all say that snowboarding is better. But hey, what do I know :P

I do like snowbording, but I like skiing better. I love the speed you can get with skis and the versitility. Nothing beats going down a moguls run or carving the shit out of an ice slope. As of right now I ride Rossingol Bandit X, but as I said, I want new skis.

I go when I have time which is not to often, I have a old Kemper Intruder 163 that I freeride on. I do keep it in the VW's hatch during the winter so if I have time and see a place to hike up and ride I will do it. I use sorel boots in my soft bindings.

I was a hardcore skier for many years (15 to be exact), and decided one year to give boarding a shot. Never turned back. Odd thing is, I never got into the jumping or pipes, just plain cruising. I ride a Nitro 157 slalom board with hard bindings and Burton hard boots. Its the only way to really get the same cruising/carving feeling I was able to obtain from skis, and the board is relatively thin (only 4" in the center). For those who say boarding is slow, let's meet somewhere on a non-mogul hill and I'd love to show you how fast a board can be. Already looking forward to parking the car on for a bit while I do more mods and get out to the slopes.
Driving is the only way to go faster....

It's been pretty wet lately... hopefully if it gets cold enough, we might get some snow. I use my bodyboard for the snow, cause it owns snowboards and ski's :P

Ugggggh... living in Phoenix is killing me. This will be my second season without snowboarding after 6 years.

I really hate you guys. :P
