    Big brake ?

i have 18in rims on my car so spacing is not a problem. I was wondering what kit you guys think is better. The Massive brake kit from massivebrakes.com which is only 11.7 or so. Or the UUC big brake kit with a 12.19 rotor. I am just wondering what is a better make and feels better.

18" wheels on Masshole roads, wow brave invidual. The roads there are so pathetic, I'm surprised they are not called cow paths.

How wide of a wheel are you using?

They meant that the excessive size of the wheel and weight were a waste. Going to a smaller wheel will allow you to stop faster and go faster due to less parasitic drag.

I am just asking what brakes are better. i dont cair that the roads are bad or the rims are too big. I am just looking for a good brake setup.

if you show us a picture of your car we can point you in the right direction.
RPI has a 12" rotor with willwood caliper.... hard to find but still obtainable.

I've got a 4-piston kit from Lee at Massive Brakes. I'm very happy with it on the street and track. I don't see what the UUC kit has going for it over the Massive kit...especially when you look at those cheapie calipers the UUC guys use.

With the Massive kit, you can use whatever calipers you like. I've got a set of forged, billet Outlaws, which are both stiffer and lighter than just about anything out there. Might as well spend the extra dough on a set of forged, billet calipers.

With Massive, you get to choose pretty much any caliper you like. Plus, Lee is a cool guy to deal with and is always willing to help you out with custom work or offer any support you might need. Great after sales service.

+1. Lee made himself available on a Saturday on his mobile to walk me through installation.

You are asking an opinated question as to which is better. Most will say what they have on the car is the best or what they want to upgrade to.

                            It is subjective.

massive lee's will fit under some 15" wheels. uuc has also switched their kit to use a caliper that will do the same. but you should definitely get rid of the 18". get some 16's or 15's.
