Its a Baur Koler or something like that. And yes its a targa

Most of those cars were built by aftermarket companies for BMW. Not many were made at all, I think 4 of the 2 door tourings, and like 3 of the targa cars(big rear window one) The baur TC is a much more common car than the baur "big window" car.

^^yup, look at the fenders/arches. I've never heard of the targa e30 before, but I think it would have been cooler as a fastback/steeply sloped hatchback.
