Mini NE meet...

Sorry but we didn't take any pics...This meet consisted of the infamous "hard-to-get-a- hold-of-euro parts guy" M-technik-3 Greg, Bernie (Shadowracer) and myself. I drove up in My Maxima and Bernie came up in an e36 (Bernie what's the code :?: ) and we met up with another guy with a sick ass Audi UR Quattro..boost is good..80's styling is nice..

Anywhoo Oreo Pete and UNHCLL you guys missed a trip to get onto a C 5 :!: :twisted: Greg took us to the base and into a fooking C 5 :shock: !!! This plane is soo huge and cool, I had always wanted to see what one of these looked like inside...

We later on went karting at Boston F1 where Bernie watched in much agony (healing shoulder preventing him from karting) as Greg was whooping ass and I was err busy enjoying last and feeling out the kart he he...

I think we ought to do this again with more heads, The scenery is still nice and the weather was superb @ 7x degrees! We should do a meet, do s alittle driving and just go karting on 20-20 Sundays @ F-1!! Pete and Chris, you guys have to organize this around your availability since it's your territory..hopefully Greg will still be around..

I'm up for this week end. The BMW will be at euro depot get the tranny converted so I'll be driving the Scirocco. But hah who cares.

i told greg i MAY be available this sunday later in the evening... i'll be in NY from thursday to sunday, but i may rush back to make F1 if you guys wanna meet there at like 7 or 8... the later the better

It's $20.00 for 20 laps. The normal price is $25.00 for 15 laps so it's a better deal. Yea it's expensive but it's cool and it's better than hanging out at a bar. check out the website www.f1boston.com

then add another 10 bucks for a day license fee... on sundays, it's just 20 bucks for the race & there's NO license fee 8)

I did know that there wasn't a license fee on Sundays, wow thats killer. But we probably need to call ahead and book track time correct?

if we want to call & make a reservation, one of us WILL have to be an annual member & that's like 75 bucks or somethin like that, i can't remember

it's usually not too busy & most of their customers are walk-in... for example, if we get there at 8, i'm guessing we could probably get a pool table for a bit or a quick bite to eat & be racing by 9-9:15

and that's probably on the conservative side

I've got a annual license, as I tend to use it when I'm out that way. Now that my friend and I finished his UrQ we'll have more time to do some karting events.

Sorry might not be able to make it thou I might. I am flying Friday and will be back Saturday. I am going to Panama for the night. :twisted: How cool is that? I should be back on Saturday night. And would be up for a Sunday "insert time here" event?
