Dude, if you're looking for a rare, limited-production E36 you don't go to an E30 board and expect us to have the answer! :D Try cars.com, autotrader, E36 boards, etc..

You're right of course, but nobody knows rare shit and has the enthusiasm to match like E30 guys! Seemed like a good pond to fish in....

Don't they run about the same price as a decent '95 M3, which is the same car but with a 3.0l motor?

There was an MTech on Autotrader.com for a while in socal. I'll see if I can dig it up. There's also an LTW E36 M3 for sale over on bf.c if you have deep pockets. I think he wants $36k or so for it.

EDIT: The MTech is gone, so I assume someone snapped it up.

I saw one for sale at Road America last summer. Liked it, but at 10K it seemed a bit spendy. I really don't know what they go for being few and far between. I saw one on Seattle c/l but it turned out to be a fake.

                    Thanks for your responses

Might be the same one I saw at the track in the summer?

I sold mine to some guy in Chicago, wonder if its the same one. Very cool cars with some neet things you wont see in other cars. Plus only being 150 of them with probably 10 or so totalled makes it a rare car indeed. The only problem is that you want to upgrade the engine, suspension and brakes and then you just ruined the original car. BTW I sold mine for $7500 a couple years ago and it was in absolute pristine shape but had 130K or so.

Good point. I think there was one for sale in the Triad, NC area about 6 months ago but I'm not sure if it got snatched up.
