how much is a eta tranny

The orirginal Getrag 260 can be had for $200 or less. I also think the 265 is interchangable from the e30 m3 and big six cars. Keep in mind this is just the tranny not including the flywheel and clutch. Good luck!

only the old version of the 265 is swappable found on pre 84 528e's
the m10 tranny will fit onto an m30 and not onto an m20 so the newer 265's on the m3, 85 535i, shouldn't bolt to the m20 unless you change out the bellhousing with one from the early 528e engine.
