I certainly hope the OP has deep pockets, or he going to find himself with a 1/4 built car and no money real fast.

      James instantly comes to mind...

I would rather have 12k into maint/ upgrades than a paintjob, that's for sure lol

Much less likely to get stolen that way. Biut do you see what i mean about the LM's. They were designed for larger diameters and look off when they are small.

Those are replicas on that specific E30.

That should be a good start. I'd suggest buying one that already has the suspension your lookin for that way you can spen the rest on engine and paint. Or just by a clean m3 and put some style 5's on it and call it a day.

14k for modifications or car/mods ? It's doable IF you try and do most of the work yourself and leave certain jobs for a shop. 14k isn't a huge budget to touch all the necessary areas of the car etc.

I've put about 7-8k and I have not even done an engine swap yet, or gotten good wheels or bbk. And I've been doing most of the work myself, paid the shop to replace the clutch/master/slave cylinders and a put in a new windshield...

So, plan it all out but expect to spend more... ;)

                  Good luck!

Yeah, I hear you Jean. I've got 10k into my car, and there is still a lot left to go before it is where I want it to be.
