I've never been a big Mercedes lover, but...

I absolutely LOVE the 2008 C class. There's a black one that's always parked down the street from my house, and I gawk at it everytime I go by it. Maybe it's just because I'm so in love with 80's/90's European styling, but I love that this model has gone back to a more squared-off, almost kind of flat-nosed front end. I've gotten so tired of everything out there coming to a knife point at the front, and lord knows Mercedes has certainly been guilty of that. The front end of the new C class just looks amazing, with the fatter grille slats, and the more prominent Mercedes emblem in the center. I was never a fan of those rifle target sight emblems standing up off the hood. Anyone else have a hard-on for this car?

I find those absolutely hideous. IMO, its still 'pointy', and a little escaladish looking.

Of course I would drive that if i had the chance, but i find that huge front grills takes away class from any car.

I'm on the fence. Sometimes I love them, other times... meh

Here's one for the cause though.

I'm also undecided on whether they look good or not. The AMG definitely looks better, but there's just something about the CLK63 that does it for me over the C-Class(still not in love with that car either). Case in point...

or the CLK DTM, which I would have sex with every day of the week. Definitely my most favorite Mercedes.

Love that one, too. But I can't stand those bubble headlights. That's something I've hated about Mercedes for a long time.

Evo3, the aero on that car is INCREDIBLE. It almost looks like a CTS-V. Gotta love Brabus.

While I do agree that the front end of the C class is little pointy still vertically, what I was getting at is the front end of cars coming to a point both horizontally and vertically. Like the McLaren (not the F1). That car is essentially shaped like a teardrop, which just doesn't do it for me at all. I like that the new C class has a much more prominent, almost vertically straight front end.

I agree, I was never a fan of the McLaren's looks at all. Sure it's an absolute technological wonder, but it's just not an aesthetically pleasing car.

The new C is GORGEOUS. It looks almost like a baby S-Class from the rear.

I like the new ones a lot too. On an e30 forum, I don't feel I need to post a pic of my favorite mercedes.

Gonna be honest and say it reminds me of a Honda or Toyota and I absolutely hate it.

I've seen two CLK AMG's in the last few days since the weather has been better and have to say I am liking the look more and more. And I've never been a fan of Merc's.

I got to drive one for my dealership and it really is not that impressive. They are too disconnected to the road and just feel like you are driving a well handleing couch. I drove a 325i e90 back from the benz dealership and it felt way better, imho.

The front end of the new c-class also looks like the front end of the new avenger.

Love the C class, they'd make one hell of an awesome daily driver.

My buddy just bought an '05 C230 sport with 19" Foose wheels for his preggo wife. The car is fucking nice.
