    convertible top question

Any vert guys out there know of any products that condition or conceal scratches on a fabric top? I am a moron and used a scraper during an ice storm to clear the top of the vert and it left "claw" marks on the canvas. Its a black top and looks like shit now. Any ideas?

I don't think there is much you can do to hide it but I would definately empty a can of water proof sealer to make sure the water does not penetrate the fabric.

Test a sharpie or magic marker on an inconspicuous part of the fabric, maybe on an edge next to the windshield, and see how obvious it looks. It it's not too bad, use the marker to blend in the scratches. Then seal as noted in prior reply.

Shoe polish also does a good job of filling in color.
