    Another new Alpina 3er.

    Meet the Alpina D3. (diesel)



    Source: Autoblog.nl. Some quick details in the write up translated:

    Engine from the 123d which is currently not available from BMW in the E90s.

    EDIT:
    Bi-turbo 4-cylinder 2.0L revs to 5200rpm
    214bhp 450Nm tq
    6.9s to 60mph
    244km/h top speed

    Available in 6-seed manual or switchtronic auto trans.
    MSRP in Germany: €40,600(base)
    To be built as a Coupé, Sedan & Touring !!!!!



    Discuss... Alpina going a bit mainstream with offering multiple body-types..?

          Why is the max torque at such a high rpm? =/

                        Looks sweet! I really like the rear deck spoiler, and the front airdam is classic Alpina, but a little more aggressive. The stripes really finish it off, too.
