    hard steering wheel

Well, ever since I got the car...I've noticed that steering is kinda hard.
    Anything I should check out?!

PS the power steering fluid is kinda brown, is that the color it should be?

hard? as in stiff to turn while stopped? No the fluid is ATF so it should be red. do you here whining while you turn the wheel?

no whining, for the so called "power steering" it takes more effort.
How can I bleed the power steering to change the liquid?

Unhook the line off the rack, stick it in a drain pan and turn the wheel back and forth a few times with the car running. Hook the line back up, pour in new ATF while you turn the wheel again with the car running, it will self bleed.

tires can lose pressure in a coupe of hours if you live in a cold area. i filled up my tires a little over a week ago and it was like driving a whole new car.

ya, but like I said it has been like that since I got the car...so I highly doubt it's tires...

PS I guess what I'm trying to say is that : It takes alot of effort to turn it with a open palm.
                doesn't feel like this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=3-mI8Q9lYsw

                      Nope, belt is just fine...

I think I'll change the fluid and throw in some new bushings.

This may be a dumb question, but have you driven other e30's? I know a few people who have driven e30's, or even any BMW, for the first time and comment that the steering feels stiff compared to every other car they've driven.

That's how I felt at the very beginning...But so far I've only drove 1 other E30 with steering way worth than mine.

I think a fluid change can loosen it up a bit...but we'll see.

can some1 show me which hose to take off to bleed the old fluid out?
