Knew I couldn't stay away from e30's for long. Snagged a 90 318is. Diamondschwarz Metalic , 5 speed , 2door, basketweaves, rear Heckspoiler No bodydamage, no rust, decent paint, restuffed and recovered sport seats, ( a cig burn on the front panel Grrrr) , Runs great so far, good shock and struts, needs a PS hose, tires, and resonator removed and replaced with a straight pipe. has a hole in it. Drove it home for $500 cash. here's interior pic, too dark for exterior. Will post asap. 200k miles but wtf. Drive it till it dies and part it out.

it may become a fourth vehicle. My 84 chevy pickup sucks too much gas, my 73 2002 is a weekend car. My son now has a Grand Cherokee and My wife has a Pontiac Torrent. Too good of a deal to pass up. Going to play it by ear. Going to get it up on stands this week and take a look see . Guy said it needed a steer rack, but a see a leaking hose from the resevoir. A trip to the junk yard for some odds and ends. Guy wanted $1000 and I talked him down to $500. ( all I had in my wallet ) He approached me at the gas station , I was in my 02 and he asked if I was interested in a e30. It was only 1/4 mile from my house.

I was surprised how peppy it is compared to my sons 325e. At 200k miles I expected it to drive like crap but it's very tight and responsive .
