should I paint my new E30

    Just bought this car...

I'll take some better pics when I get a chance...just wanted to get opinions on paint. Seller threw in a new hood to replace the dented one, so I'll need to paint that as well as the m-tech parts. I could color match, or I could paint it a whole new color...just wanted to get some opinions out there. The color is lachssilber metallic (I assume this is a common US color?).

Looks fine. I do car detailing, and it seems like as long as you put some work into the paint to get the hood to match, it should be ok without a repaint.

I would get someone to see how thick the paint is on the car (might be worth it to repaint vs detail) though, it might be in bad cond., i cant tell from the pictures.

from what i can see thoguh, looks good aside from the hood/bumpers. grey is a very low maint. color, i would stick with it.

It would certainly be cheaper to take that route...

I also want to get opinions on that color specifically...do you guys think lachssilber metallic would look good on an m-tech 1? I was thinking of delphin or schwarz, but again I want to hear some opinions here.

Henna would be dope, no doubt...now I'm thinking of sticking with the stock paint since it's in good shape.
