I've heard 27-30. 4V per cylinder is a lot more efficent.

      Cool. So an m50 plus 3.25 = :)

      Time to start gathering parts!

Hey - which gets better mileage - vanos or NV?

my vanos m52 with m50 manifold, 21.5lb injectors, and obd1 AA chip with a ZF/3.25 combo churns in around 29mpg on the freeway ~75-80. Mixed hard driving I never dipped below 20mpg combined and that was with alot of WOT driving.

That's impressive. Maybe now I can somewhat justify the cost.

              Let's just say that I have a couple 2.93 LSD's laying around, and a 3.73 open diff. Can I make a "hybrid" 3.73 LSD?

You can send me one of the 2.93's with the wheels :)

                PS - you have email

I don't know the details about swapping gears - but i know it can be done.

Take the LS unit out of one of the 2.93's. Take the 3.73 and remove the ring gear and put it on the ls unit and put it in.
