    painting pree 88 bumpers

ok I think im gonna take of the front and back bumper and give them to my dad to paint at work...... is there any speical color black i should tell him to use? aslo how would I remove just the bumper, just the two big bolts up front??

Should i take off the bumper trim, molding around the bumper, and front grilli off to to have him paint? i would probably do a bumper tuck after i do this. do u think it would look any good? btw my car is black

eh, i talked to my mom about it and she siad it would be to much black. I'll just do it when its my car. For now I just want to start of repainting the bumper trim and molding with this forever black stuff i bough. Should i sand it down first since its kinda scratched up?

To take of the bumper trim what do I do. So far i have the front licence plate off. Do all I need to do is take a scewdriver and pry it out?

And to get the bumper off to get the molding around the bumper off do i just need to take the 2 big bolts out under the front bumper and it just comes out?

    thanks

To get the plastic trim that surrounds the bumper, not the actual middle trim pieces, there are a couple screws that will require a wrench to get off. Look inside the fender to remove a couple of them, the others are located at about 6-8 inch intervals between the bumper and the trim. I found it easiest to just lift up slightly on the trim and un-screw them. Hope this helps.
